We'd had wonderful plans to take the dogs hiking this morning at Tunica Hills. I thought I was ready for some more vigorous things than walking. But, we'd only been in the car for 15 minutes (it's an hour drive up there) when the horribly black sky let loose with rain and we decided to head home. We knew it was a risk even leaving, just based on what the sky looked like, but we tried anyway. It wound up raining heavily all day, on and off, but we really did need it. As a result, we spent most of the day inside, with the dogs. Becky also decided to take a wide-angle shot, so you can see more than just my head / face.
Here are today's requisite pics.
You'll notice that I've figured out how to take these pictures without the flash. This prevents that silly shadow from appearing by my face (you'll still see the shadow from the ceiling light, though). I thought this would improve your ability to see me recover. :)
Also, you notice that my weight went up, but I think that's mostly from supper last night. I think that was the most I ate (and I had a margarita!) in a while. I'm sure I'll lose it soon...
