Well, it's been four weeks since the surgery and I think I'm around 85% recovered. Even though it's a bit embarrasing to bring up, you'll see in today's pictures that my nose is skewed. This is because I still have much more swelling on the left side than on the right, so it's lifting up that nostril. I also noticed last night before bed that the skin, staring from the center of my chin and moving back, along the jaw toward the ear, was tight and flat along the jaw, until you got to just below my cheek bones and then it puffed up. I knew there was some swelling down there still, but it was wierd to se it all so clearly.
Here are today's requisite pics.
I also wanted to announce that from now on, all I'm going to do is post pictures, several of them (perhaps a weeks worth) on one page. I'm sure many of you are just as bored as I am at looking at the same thing everyday. I'd still like to document the recovery, but I think most of it is done. I'll track the pictures for all of you so there's a record, but I won't be doing the full narrations anymore. It's been kind of fun chronicling my life like this, but it does take time and I need to move on to other things. I'll get pictures posted as often as I find time or think about it, but don't be surprised if a week goes by with out any updates. I will continue to update my weight on the main page (which is still down by the way), but that's about it.
Thanks so much to all of you who have actually been keeping up with all of this. It makes me feel special to know that people really are interested.
