Last night was a good one with a nice nights sleep. I'm feeling better and better about this everyday.

Here are today's requisite pics.

As you can see, I'm fighting some acne as a result of all the sugary things I've been eating lately (a SlimFast really is pretty sweet, and all those shakes I've had... :(

I went back to the Dr.'s office today and he said everything looks great. He didn't complain about the broken rubber band at all (I guess it happens a lot). I asked him about an apparent cant in my teeth and he said, yes, he saw it, but that was something that my orthodontist would be able to (easily) fix. He also said the same about the fact that my molars don't touch each other when I bite. My ortho will be able to pull those up so things touch just fine. He gave me some new rubber bands and mentioned that I can take them off when I eat! Hurray!!!! He also said that I can start eating things like scrambled eggs, pancakes, baked fish, etc. I'm so much looking forward to some "normal" food again!!! In celebration, I took some pictures with my rubber bands off. One, teeth together, the other mouth open, just for something to look at. :)

Also, I got a chance to take a picture of those X-ray's I'd mentioned before. I've added the side view to the description page and done some updates (take a peek).

Remember, the side view is from before the surgery. In the panographic view, you can see all the little titanium screws and the thin little plates. Take a peek here to see how close I came last week to guessing at the placement of these screws. If you look closely, right by the screws in lower jaw (the left side of the image is better), you can see the cuts in the bone. If you look at the same place on the right side of the image, you can also trace it back to the back side of the mandible, where they actually started the cuts. Also note, you can see the holes left from where they pulled out the wisdom teeth.
